Also known as The Main Street of America, Route 66 symbolizes the quintessential all-American highway, inspiring road trips from Illinois to California. Commissioned in 1926, Route 66 was one of America’s original highways, allowing for increased Western migration while supporting small communities along the way.

Although the official Route 66 highway was decommissioned in 1985, nostalgia and lore surrounding it live on. Every year, avid road-trippers continue to make the cross-country trip, inspiring new generations of adventurers to carry on its spirit of carefree adventure.
